New Patients
If this is your first appointment, it’s natural to feel a bit nervous about what to expect. Rest assured, our typical appointment process, outlined below, is straightforward and designed to put you at ease.
Upon your arrival, our welcoming reception team will greet you and provide you with any essential forms to fill out. To ensure ample time for this, we suggest arriving 20 minutes ahead of your scheduled time if you haven’t already completed the forms at home. (You can download the paperwork for first-time patients below.)
Next, one of our skilled and friendly dental assistants or hygienists will escort you to the X-ray facility. There, we will conduct several dental X-rays to detect any issues with your teeth that aren’t visible to the naked eye.
After taking your X-rays, the dental hygienist or assistant will inquire about the purpose of your visit and discuss any dental issues you’re experiencing and any goals you may have for your smile and oral health. Additionally, they will go over your medical and dental history.
If you’re coming in for regular dental cleaning and examination, our hygienist will clean your teeth, and one of our Salisbury dentists will examine them for any signs of decay or damage.
If your visit is focused on exploring our cosmetic or restorative dental solutions, one of our dentists will sit down with you to talk about your available options and create a tailored treatment plan.

Tips for Your Appointment
Arrive Early
Ensure you arrive at our Salisbury dental center at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Doing so gives our team sufficient time to review your details and get everything set for your session. Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early if you need to fill out new patient forms.
Bring All Necessary Documents
Ensure you bring your up-to-date insurance card, a list of medications you are taking, and your driver’s license to your appointment. Additionally, if you wish to transfer any previous dental records, including X-rays, please bring them along. Remember your wallet, too! We accept various payment methods, including cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and CareCredit.
Give a 24-hour Cancellation Notice
If you can’t make it to your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This helps us assist other patients who might be in pain or need the services of our Salisbury dentists. A cancellation fee may apply for patients who don’t inform us in time.
