Safe Sedation Dentistry
Nitrous oxide is a very safe option for sedation dentistry. The patient’s medical history is thoroughly reviewed to ensure there are no allergies or diseases that could cause adverse reactions. If used, the medication is closely monitored and controlled by the dental team throughout the procedure.
Nitrous oxide takes effect immediately. It does not cause drowsiness so the patient remains awake and can communicate with the dentist. The patient breathes in a combination of oxygen and nitrous oxide through a mask.
Once the treatment is over, the medication is stopped and the effects cease immediately without any lasting effects. As the medication is turned off, the patient breathes in only oxygen to clear the lungs. Since there are no side effects or lingering reactions, patients can drive themselves home and resume normal activities after the appointment.

Super nice staff, very friend.
There was a very short wait—maybe 5 minutes—and once I was in the chair, I was very much at ease. The hygenist was quick and all my questions were answered clearly by the dentist. I HATE going to the dentist, but I’ve only had good experiences here.
