Safe Sedation Dentistry
Nitrous oxide is a very safe option for sedation dentistry. The patient’s medical history is thoroughly reviewed to ensure there are no allergies or diseases that could cause adverse reactions. If used, the medication is closely monitored and controlled by the dental team throughout the procedure.
Nitrous oxide takes effect immediately. It does not cause drowsiness so the patient remains awake and can communicate with the dentist. The patient breathes in a combination of oxygen and nitrous oxide through a mask.
Once the treatment is over, the medication is stopped and the effects cease immediately without any lasting effects. As the medication is turned off, the patient breathes in only oxygen to clear the lungs. Since there are no side effects or lingering reactions, patients can drive themselves home and resume normal activities after the appointment.

I usually don't leave reviews, but I want to do so for this dentist. The staffs are so nice and kind. Dr. Raynald is the dentist you can trust. From the previous dentist, my kid was recommended for either root canals or extractions of one of the permanent teeth. But Dr. Raynald found out that infection is not in the tooth, but in the gums(right beside the tooth). So he removed all the infected pus and cleaned out the area and stitched up safely. My kid was not afraid of the procedure. Also, it was really hard to find out a dentist office that accepts my insurance. This dentist accept many different insurances, including mine. I highly recommend this dentist. I will bring my other kids to this dentist.
